HOLLY HELLING AND TREVOR CLINARD
05.11.2008

Colin and I had a great time with Holly and Trevor last week and can't wait for their wedding coming in March 2009.  We visited the place of their first date, The Gypsy Den in Santa Ana, CA and took the Ferrari for a spin through Turtle Rock in Irvine, CA.  It seemed like the light got away from us real fast making us so thankful for Nikon's amazing high ISO settings.

Holly and Trevor are such a great couple and so fun to hang out with.  We've known Holly for a long time now and have worked together with her in the youth ministry department of Irvine Presbyterian Church where she will be marrying her groom.  Trevor passed all of our pop-quizzes for Husbandry, thank goodness!

I used mostly Colin's images on the blog this time and was reminded again how much I LOVE the TripleCord team.  It is so fun to work with such creative people who constantly make me laugh and smile.  This set-up we have is divine!  Speaking of, Colin has just finished designing our new website and we can't wait for you to see it.  It makes my heart pound!

These were both taken at ISO 3500.  Nikon, THANKS!

Because of the movement we had to boost the ISO up to 6500.

RICK WARREN: LOVE IS EVERYTHING
30.10.2008

Rick Warren tends to be a hero of many and rightfully so. He is responsible for radically changing the focus of thousands of churches and millions of people. One of the specks in those huge figures is TripleCord.  Our family began attending his church right around the birth of TripleCord, and his influence highly impacted the way we "did" things.  His book The Purpose Driven Life, which says that meaning in life comes through following God's purposes, has been a major tool I use when making difficult decisions, forecasting budgets and dreaming up goals.  I believe the principles in his book work 100% of the time.  Why?  Because they are taken directly out of the Bible.  My friend Rex Crain says, "I use the Bible because it works!"  He is right.

Rick Warren in many ways has brain washed me, thankfully!!!  It was just four years ago that Mike (my amazing husband) and Colin (amazing son and TripleCord photog.) went off to Africa on a Saddleback Church P.E.A.C.E. trip.  Since then we have taken on Rick's challenge to acknowledge that everything we own belongs to the "Owner" otherwise known as God.  And the acknowledgment that everything we do or decide NOT to do has a direct impact in our world.

The most powerful influence Pastor Rick has had in my life has been his dedication to leading by example.  He is a man of his word and I could write at least 10 blog entries on his life behind the scenes and how it has directly impacted our business and personal lives.  I wish I had the time to write all of it now so that you could begin boosting your life potential NOW, however, I am going to just mention the simple thing he did this week  that is more powerful than many of us is probably willing to admit.  He stayed home with his family!

Yes, it turns out that Pastor Rick has cancelled his meeting at the White House and many other important engagements this week in order to stay with his family during Jaime's recovery period.  How easy it would have been to "prioritize" and view national issues as a little more important than sitting in a hospital room.  Rick's choices have indeed been the root cause of his success and has impacted countless lives however this particular act of love is about to travel around the world challenging the way we think.  So far 30,000 people have signed Jaime's guest book at her Caring Page website. The world is watching.

The other day Annie and I made a list of goals for TripleCord in 2009.  When we got to the bottom, Annie asked me to add one more item.  To aid in the adoption of every Heart 4 Africa sponsored child.  Our goals for TripleCord have always been "impossible" but with God every one to date has been accomplished.  When she said this, I knew God was about to do the miraculous.  Tears flooded my eyes and joy sent chills up my spine.  We believe Love is Everything!

TripleCord is indebted to both Kay and Rick Warren for setting us on a much different path than we might have otherwise travelled.  It is because of them that we strive for excellence in both our private and public lives.  And it is because of their willingness to stand firm in their beliefs that we were wildly transformed and attempt to do the impossible.

Mother Theresa was asked once what the most important thing a person can do to change the world, her response, "Go home and love your family."

Amanda Auer:Wow, I love this! I went to Saddleback this Sunday and adored Rick and his absolute authentic spirit for love. I agree, ten fold, about Rick Warren! (11/06/08, 08:47)
Eddie Bojorquez (Studio 512):Yes...and yes.  Blessings to Rick and the family. And a big thanks to TripleCord for being such awesome examples of serving God through our work. -E (10/31/08, 10:01)
Stacy Cross:Awesome. (10/30/08, 05:51)

YOU DESERVE THE BEST!
28.10.2008

We are so delighted to be in the middle of our album design phase for our 2008 weddings.  It is an extension to our joy and excitement of the day itself.  Just yesterday Annie and I were about to get on a plane to visit Gail and Nemo in New York as we reminisced our times together and discussed their album design. We just can not get enough of our bride and grooms!  We were laughing as we said, "Is this even healthy?"  Gail suggested that we place framed photos of her and Nemo around our office.  We might just do that!

It is our strong belief that attachment is a healthy friend when it comes to the task of writing personal stories or preserving precious memories.  When we are bonded to our clients we will listen more carefully, look more intently and deliver to them their dreams in a beautifully crafted archival album.  Twlya Tharp said in her book, The Creative Habit, "We want artists to take the mundane materials of our lives, run it through their imaginations, and surprise us."  Though weddings are far from being mundane, the TripleCord standard is to create an atmosphere of surprise and awe when we deliver our finished work. You deserve the best!

Colin and Annie have been working non-stop creating some exquisitely beautiful albums.  Each one is completely different and custom according to the Bride and Groom's style and taste.  The following pages, designed by Annie, are just a few from the 36 page album.  It will be printed on glossy laminated metallic paper in a 9.5 x 13 album from Italy's finest, Graphi Studio.

Have a great day!  Stay tuned for TripleCord's new website!  Colin has been working late hours to make it amazing!

~Annette Biggers

Jessica and Jesse chose such a vibrant color scheme for their wedding.  It most certainly matched the fire in their hearts!

Colin and Andrew have so much fun with the guys, in fact our publicist said that when she is reviewing our online galleries, she almost falls out of her chair laughing at the groomsmen pictures.

Us girls have a lot of fun too!  Annie and I had such a great time with Jessica and her bridesmaids and we were especially happy that she chose so many of the fun pictures for her album.

The beautiful flowers were orchestrated by Nisie's Enchanted Florist.

Michelle Weita of Details Details carefully with passion put together this amazing event.  We are so impressed with her ability to take brides' dreams and "run it through her imagination and surprise us."
