JENNIFER BENDER AND MARK TRACY
18.07.2008

A huge congratulations to Jennifer Bender and Mark Tracy who said their vows last weekend at the beautiful Grand Tradition in Fallbrook, California.  It was such a delight working with both families and the entire staff of this venue.  We were so impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail Grand Tradition offers.  Mike Iwerks from Iwerks Productions provided the beautiful lighting,  an entertaining Bride and Groom Love Story and an entire night of his ultra classy-style DJ'ing.  Justin, the manager of Grand Tradition provided not only impeccable service but personable assistance to all of us vendors.  They treated us like royalty!  We can not say enough about this venue.  Jennifer and her mom Beth did such a great job of putting this wedding together that we were certain they had a coordinator.

Jennifer had each bridesmaid's initial on their flowers.  We thought that was a nice touch.

The cute little ring boy thought it was his job to go down the isle and stomp on all of the flower petals.

The horses were so white it looked as though they were spray painted.

Jennifer and Mark surprised their parents with a 25th Wedding Anniversary cake and a special dance.

Happy Anniversary Beth and Ralph!

Dear Jennifer and Mark,

We had so much fun photographing your wedding and getting to know your friends and family.  Everything was so perfect just like a fairy tale!  Thank you for allowing us to have the honor of capturing this beautiful day!

With gratitude,

Annette, Annie and Andrew

HAPPY BIRTHDAY OLIVIA!
12.07.2008

One of TripleCord's favorite models is turning 21 on the 20th!  Olivia Hales has not only been our close friend but also someone we call every time we have an opening for a shoot.  She is an extremely talented person in front of the camera and works full time training olympic team horses for a local equestrian in Costa Mesa.  Her entire family is such a blast to hang out with and we had so much fun attending her surprise Birthday party this afternoon.  Colin and Andrew blind-folded her and said that we had a surprise photo shoot for her; Chelsea, Olivia's sister and another TC model, played along pretending to be blind-folded as well. We took the blind-fold off as everyone yelled, "welcome to your photo shoot!".  Totally gullible, she was stunned and surprised. The guests enjoyed swimming, eating, swing dancing and a special dance serenade by some friends including boyfriend, Jimmy.  It was especially fun hanging out with Colin and Andrew's old theatre-day friends', Rebecca Auda and Rochelle Kurtz.

In celebration of Olivia today here are some images from our shoot last November.

Thanks, Olivia for including us in your amazing and adventurous life. We are so honored to know you and wish we could hang out with you WAY more than we do.  A huge Happy Birthday to you!!

Love and appreciation from,

All of us at TripleCord and the entire Biggers family

MEGAN GIBEAUT AND CRAIG MAPLES
04.07.2008

About a week ago, we photographed Megan and Craig's wedding extravaganza.  Having known several of the wedding party from college, I knew that this wedding was going to be a blast.  It was not only full of hilarious moments (namely Jake's pants completely ripping open while jumping, the guests doing the wave during the ceremony, and a few toasts that had the entire reception rolling in laughter), but the entire day was graced with an incredible sense of joy and thankfulness.  Both families have very strong relationships and it wasn't uncommon to see Craig's family happily dancing a slow dance together (all six of them in a clump!) or even an entire reception-long conga line.

Craig and Megan's wedding was not merely a ceremony of marriage but a celebration of relationship-- for everyone attending. It was such an incredible blessing and joy to be a part of their day and I know the smiles and laughs will last us all wedding season.

Thanks again, Craig and Megan, for your sharing your day with us. We love you guys!

DAVID AND LAURA'S ENGAGEMENT
01.07.2008

A little while ago, TripleCord met up with our July 26th couple, David and Laura. Not only are they young, hip, and boast a ginormous truck, but anyone can tell that they are truly best friends. I don't think I've ever seen a groom-to-be crack his bride up so much. Annie and I learned that we had the ability of saying "crack up!" and we would instantly receive glowing, natural smiles as well as howling laughter from David.  Yet at the same time, they were both amazing at transitioning from crazy smiles to a gentle seriousness.  That takes talent!

We started around Ladera Ranch to find some "soft, beautiful light", moved on to Laguna Beach where we were in a race against the sun to get some gorgeous sunset pictures, and then discovered a random alleyway to have some fun with David's gargantuan truck.

Laura and David, both Annie and I had so much fun with you two and can not wait to enjoy your wedding with you on the beautiful Queen Mary. It is going to be incredible!

-Andrew and Annie

Laura:Andrew and Annie, David and I had so much fun with both of you.  Being in front of a camera for 3 hours is not something that either of us are used to, but both of you helped to make the session fun and light-hearted.  We cannot wait to see you in three weeks!  I can´t believe how soon it´s coming...AH!  Thank you so much :) (07/05/08, 12:46)

DENEKA GRACIANO AND RYAN WADDELL
26.06.2008

Three of the four TripleCord team have read one of my favorite books, Celebration of Discipline by Richard Foster.  All of us agree that it is one of those books that super enhanced our lives.  The last chapter is possibly my favorite, titled The Discipline of Celebration.  Here's a radical thought....

"Far and away the most important benefit of celebration is that it saves us from taking ourselves too seriously.  This is

a desperately needed grace.....It is an occupational hazard of devout folk to become stuffy bores.  This should not be.

Of all people, we should be the most free, alive, interesting.  Celebration adds a note of gaiety, festivity, hilarity to

our lives.  After all, Jesus rejoiced so fully in life that he was accused of being a wine bibber and a glutton.  Many of

us lead such sour lives that we cannot possibly be accused of such things."  page 196

When we were in Mexico recently we were discussing how wonderful it is to be in a business where most of it is centered around not only celebratory events but possibly the most important celebration of one's life.  And then the week after we get to re-live it as we do our post-production work.  Being a wedding photographer is such a joy filled with constant celebration!

Last week Deneka and Ryan said their vows on Laguna Beach, California.  TripleCord was so blessed again to share in the celebration of a lifetime!  When we arrived at Deneka's room at the St. Regis Hotel we were astonished at the orderliness and calmness of the entire experience of "Bride Preparations".  Deneka's sister, Devin, not only provided the beautiful hair styles and makeup but was herself in the wedding party!  She was truly a joy to work with.

And let the celebration begin! These are some of the sweetest and most fun girls ever.  Michelle, one of the bridesmaids, kept the laughter and smiles flowing.  We thought we would like her to be at all of our weddings!

Colin had a lot of fun with the groomsmen in Laguna Beach.  These guys brought humor and light heartedness to our very hot day. We super appreciate them!

And we loved this party's energy.  It's what made Deneka and Ryan's day ultra special.

The ultra gorgeous couple at sunset.

Dear Deneka and Ryan,

It was our pleasure to spend this day with you and your families and friends.  Your wedding party was such a blast and provided a sense of strength to the entire day.  We REALLY appreciated them.  Deneka, your sister is a God send!

Our prayer for you is that your marriage will continually grow stronger with God's help and that each season of your lives will be a testimony of His love for you.

With our gratitude,

~Annette, Annie and Colin
